Official webpage here.
We've been using this app for sometime already so thought it deserves a post.
You subscribe to this app for a year. It costs about SGD90.
In the app, there are e-vouchers to use for 1 for 1 promotions at participating outlets.
You can multi log into this app so you can share it with your friends and family.
How it works is that you tell them you are using the Entertainer app to make sure that the outlet or staff knows what you are talking about. Then when you pay, click on the e-voucher and key in a pin, then pass it to the billing staff and they will key in the outlet pin. This will generate a code for them to take down. Then they will proceed to minus off the lowest priced dish or dishes depending on how many vouchers you have used.
So if you went with some friends to a restaurant. They 4 of you could order 4 dishes. Then when it's time to pay, you use the app and use 2 e-vouchers and that will take off the 2 lowest priced dishes off your bill. Typically there are 3 e-vouchers provided per merchant.
This app is also applicable when booking hotel stays overseas.
We have stayed at Sofitel Thailand using this app. Few years back, both of us had the app. So we booked the hotel for 4 nights. 2 nights under my wife's name and 2 nights under my name. We arranged with the hotel not to check us out and move our rooms so we stayed in the same room for 4 nights and paid only for 2 nights. This stay itself already fully reimbursed us for the cost of the app.
I don't have the app currently. It's on my wife's phone and I don't have the password so I can't list down many of the promotions. I'll just list down those that I remember. Some may have been removed by the app so my memory may be out of date.
You get 1 for 1 promos at
Pepperoni's Pizza restaurant - Pasta and Pizza
Ben & Jerry's - Ice cream
The Prime Society - Steakhouse
Morganfield's - Western food, Ribs
Huggs - Coffee outlet
The Bank Bar and Bistro - Western food & Bar
St. Marc Cafe - Coffee outlet and dessert
Wrap and Roll - Vietnam food
Knoll's @ Capella Hotel @ Sentosa - Hotel Restaurant
Pollen @ Gardens by the Bay - Expensive Restaurant
Joe and Dough - Some coffee, cake, bread place I think
Banyan Tree Resorts - Resort stays (don't remember which Banyan tree resort)
Some Thailand hotels
Some Spa outlets
Some hair outlets
Some nail outlets
It's a pretty long list of promos. There's a lot more for dining and entertainment and lifestyle services. It's pretty worth it. Also if you don't know where to go and eat you can just search the app using the area you are at and explore new places.
Anyway we bought the app for 2017 and it comes with 1 year subscription for Cheers which is a similar app but catering to bars and drink places. Doubt we will be using the Cheers app much as we don't drink very much.
So we combo this app with our credit card spending with really racks up the savings when we go out and eat. Which is basically what we always do on weekends. Dining is our main sin.
