My computer is officially dead

Ok I posted on this some days earlier.

My laptop had been giving me problems. I tried to fix it... Somewhere along the fixing process, it seemed to get worse, even after I reinstalled Windows.
I discovered that my harddisk had some issues and it's suspected that I have a harddisk problem, not just a software issue.

So it's going to take awhile before I get it fixed. I'm thinking I'll search around Sim Lim to see if they can help me change the harddisk and reinstall Windows for cheap. Maybe if I can get it fixed for $100 it would be worth it.

This laptop cost me $800, 3 years ago, so... Maybe it's time for a new one? But if I can push out another 2 years or so using $100 to fix it, maybe it's worth it...

Anyway, posts will be slow cos it's really no fun typing on the phone.
I still have my last months expense update to post and there's no easy way to do spreadsheets and post using a phone so...

Stay tuned, hoping I'll be able to get the laptop fixed in the next few weeks, cos I'll be going overseas soon again so there'll be some delays to the fixing.

Hi

I can understand how inconvenient it is without the laptop. This is especially in the case in which one still holds a full-time employment in which the laptop is considered a need instead of want.

Take your time in writing new posts. Slow and steady makes the post more intriguing.

As for the new laptop, it may be worthwhile getting a laptop as the parts are new and good.

Decided to embark on a mission to retire early in Singapore, a place where such an idea is considered impossible. As I believe that life has a lot more to offer instead of just a working career. I've decided to start a blog to note down my journey to achieve this mission and help others along the way who are willing to listen and try doing things differently from everyone else.

I have decided to remain anonymous until I finally am able to actually retire, reason being that this idea might not gel well with the company which I am working for currently and also to avoid real life flaming from people who say that such ideas are impossible and that an individual is lazy for choosing early retirement instead of contributing to society in the form of labour.
