I always think I'm frugal, thrifty... I always think I'm reasonable with my spending.
One of those things with no true definition...
If a father refuses to buy a Ferrari for his son... Is it thrifty or stingy?
What if the father is Bill Gates?
No one calls themselves stingy.
Usually, someone calls someone else stingy when they don't get what they WANT...
Rarely, do we hear someone complain someone is stingy if the item they request is a need.
There are occasions... but usually, we don't hear people call others stingy if the item is a need.
Simply cos... if it is a need, usually the person would allow the purchase, or buy it for them.
"I really need an iPhone" doesn't count as a need.
Anyway, I'm not here to debate on what's stingy, frugal, miser, thrifty.
Once again, that's not in the spirit of things.
The concepts and ideas are important. Not the definitions. There's no line in the sand.
Rather, I just think the picture is cute and wish to share it.
That's all.
I don't know where the picture is from, if someone tells me, I'll update the post.
